Which defect categories can SuPAR detect?

SuPAR is designed to detect a broad spectrum of visual defects: surface scratches, cracks, delaminations, porosity, inclusions, dimensional deviations and assembly errors. The model is trained on your specific defect catalogue — detection performance is optimised for your process, not generic.

Does SuPAR work without cloud connectivity?

Yes. SuPAR supports full edge deployment directly at the production line — without cloud connection. For companies with strict IT security requirements or limited network availability in manufacturing, this is the preferred mode of operation.

What distinguishes SuPAR from classical machine vision?

Classical rule-based machine vision checks against predefined parameters. It’s rigid — every new defect type requires reprogramming. SuPAR uses deep learning: the system learns from real defects, generalises to new variants and continuously improves its detection rate.
